The mineral waters of Albert Canyon were allegedly discovered by CPR workmen at the turn of the century.

They built a timber enclosure at the site of the springs as this was used as a pool until the townsite was abandoned when the CPR removed the maintenance post. The Albert Canyon "ghost" town remains a short distance south of the present pool site.

Today, water from the spring is piped almost 2 miles down the valley side to feed our 15,000 gallon hot pool and our 60,000 gallon swimming pool.

Whether you choose to soak in the hot pool or swim in the warm swimming pool, your visit is sure to be an exhilarating experience.

Time spent in the mineral pools is a great way to relieve the aches and pains of traveling.

The Hot Mineral Soaking Pool temperature is 104°F (40°C) and the swimming pool is 86°F (32°C).

Stop by, relax a little, and enjoy not only the pools and surrounding scenery but also our cafe and friendly trading post.
