Albert Canyon Hot Springs

Take a break from your journey and relax with a soak in the Albert Canyon Hot Springs, surrounded by the majestic Selkirk Mountains. With two leisure pools, a trading post and welcoming staff, you’ll discover quintessential BC hospitality and relaxation.

The History of Our Springs

As the tale goes, the steamy mineral waters of Albert Canyon were first discovered by Canadian Pacific Railway workers at the turn of the century. Canyon Hot Springs was later created in the 1970s and has since been the premiere mineral soaking pool destination for travellers navigating the Trans Canada Highway through Rogers Pass and into Revelstoke.

About Our Pools

Today, water from the natural spring is piped over three kilometres down the valley side to feed our 15,000 gallon hot pool and our 60,000 gallon swimming pool. The hot mineral soaking pool temperature is 40°C (104°F) and the swimming pool is 32°C (86°F).

Clean, proper swim attire (bathing suits) must be worn before entering the pool or pool area. Babies must wear disposable diapers in pools. Towels are not provided but are available for purchase. Padlocks for lockers are also available for purchase.
